Attitude or Acting?

It was terrible for my scene directing today! I felt awful that I have connected to my actors since last Tuesday, and then they both late this morning, so I have to change the schedule to noon. Although, both of them are really good actors, but what about attitude? They were late like thirty minutes. Can you respect us even it's a non-paid job, though? Last Saturday, I met a fine talent. She has a very good attitude, but when she was acting, and it was like read the script. I knew she was trying to do the best she could, though.

JoAnna is a good teacher, and maybe she was trying to protect her students, and said to me, "They are really good actors." in front of them. I don't know. I knew I cannot use the accuracy word to tell my actors what is the feeling or emotion I want to show on the scene. However, they have to show their attitude first, for God sake. I couldn't believe these.
